So glad I found this space in editing, where I get a jump start with someone else's idea and get to run with it and become one with it.

It took me a couple of months to learn the software at university ( during a super hands-on course at Goldsmiths College of Art );

a few years to learn the craft working in editorial  and progressing from Trainee to the First Assistant Editor and VFX Editor on films and TV shows like About TimeListen to me Marlon, A Very English Scandal, The Death of Stalin amongst others: Jeanna Mortimer - IMDb);

it will take me the rest of my life to learn the art of editing.

My latest work has been shown at the festivals around the globe ( TIFF, Telluride, DOC NYC ), including a film shortlisted for an Oscar.

I was born in Russia to a Russian mother and a Tatar father. Russian in my native tongue although I dream in English
